Keynote addresses were given by Dr. Rajendra Apte on aging and transition to disease, and Dr. Philip Payne on clinical research informatics. Our special guest speaker, Gerard Baker, Editor at Large at the Wall Street Journal, presented on healthcare industry economics.
Forum participants included business leaders, university faculty and administrators, Washington University alumni, and prospective students. The issues of personalized medicine and the future of health care were explored in order to stimulate additional collaborative research that will advance global solutions to these challenges.
