Alfonso Navarro Bernachi, Head Consul to the Consulate of Mexico in Kansas City, Missouri, was at Washington University in St. Louis on Monday, April 2, at the Women’s Building Formal Lounge. He addressed students, faculty, and guests, presenting on “Mexico’s General Election 2018: The Institutional Strengths of the Mexican Electoral System?”
This year, Mexico will hold its largest election, with 3,406 positions to be disputed, from President to municipal clerks. This presentation focused on the Mexican electoral system and the challenges facing this year’s electoral authority.
