One year after Haiti earthquake, Brown School public health expert Iannotti continues work on the ground

Brown School nutrition and public health expert Lora Iannotti, PhD, assistant professor, was in Haiti Jan. 12, 2010, when a catastrophic earthquake struck. She was unharmed, and the after-affects didn’t stop her work on undernutrition and disease prevention in young children. She returned one year later to study the effectiveness of ready-to-use supplemental foods and found the country needed help more than ever.
