2015 YSEIC Elevator Pitch Competition

PrintYesterday starting at approximately 1 p.m. central standard time we kicked off our afternoon hearing from the first of 38 Semi-Finalists in the 2015 YouthBridge Social Enterprise and Innovation Competition.  Each semi-finalist had two minutes to give their pitch followed by three minutes of Q&A from our judges.  Despite having more semi-finalists this year than ever, the afternoon went off without a hitch!

Beginning at 6 p.m. each team had the chance to pitch again but this time they only had 60 seconds and it was in a public forum.  Frick Forum to be exact.  We filled the seats and the crowd was full of energy and excitement and fun was had all around.  38 semi-finalists were cut down to 10 finalists, of whom are listed below:

Angel Boutique

The St. Louis Metro Market

Magnificent Potential

The Virtual Child Care Business Center

The MakerShare Initiative

The Women’s Bakery

The Willow Foundation

Code Red Education

A big congrats goes out to all!
